The story of the Cosgrove Group started with Ken & Sarilla Cosgrove. They founded Piedmont Petroleum Corp in 1977 and began operating convenience stores all over South Carolina. For Ken the stores were only part of the story and his real love was the real estate the stores operated on. In 2021 the family divested the convenience stores to focus full time on real estate. Those lessons in how to win in real estate were passed down to their sons Kenneth & Story who continue the legacy today through the Cosgrove Group.

Kenneth Cosgrove graduated Clemson in 2003 and immediately joined Piedmont Petroleum doing a little bit of everything that a family operating forty convenience stores and 200+ employees requires. Loss control, merchandising, environmental, audit, buying - the list of jobs goes on and on but most important was always working on the real estate with Ken. Two decades of neighborhood analysis in Greenville has given Kenneth a unique and deep knowledge of Greenvilles real estate market. A licensed Realtor* since 2016 Kenneth has helped clients with relocation to Greenville, buying their first investment home, finding their forever home and winning in the most difficult neighborhoods in Greenville. Kenneth is an experienced investor with buy-and-hold and fix & flip investment plays. From negotiating 10M+ commercial tranche buys to helping a first time buyer find their first home Kenneth truly loves every part of the real estate journey and he welcomes the opportunity to put his experience and knowledge of Greenville to work for you!
Kenneth is from Greenville, SC and graduated from Clemson University with a BS and MBA. He is also a graduate of Wyatt Real Estate Institute and participated in Leadership Greenville (Class 41). On weekends, you can find Kenneth and his wife Megan exploring the city with their two young children, worshipping at Downtown Presbyterian Church or on a beach getaway to Isle of Palms, SC. Hobbies are military history, classic lit, being average at golf and a forever beginner at Crossfit.

Story Cosgroves career began in 2011 after graduating from Clemson. Story traveled and worked throughout the US before landing in Seattle where he worked in startups and inexorably the coffee business. Bringing back a passion for great Coffee, Story revolutionized the coffee and AM food & bev departments at Piedmont Petroleum. Story helped bring specialty coffee roasting to our convience stores in what was certainly an industry first for a chain our size. Creative problem solving is one of his strengths and sharing that with commercial and residential clients has always been part of the value Story provides. Caring for clients after close is what truly separates Story from other agents. Being married to Kelsey Cosgrove, an accomplished Greenville Interior Designer is part of the value Story brings. From working with contractors and designers, Story loves the creative problem solving that real estate demands. Experience with design+build, flips, renovations & hardscape solutions, Story absolutely loves working with clients before, during and after the close.
On weekends Story, Kelsey & their two young sons have a passion for traveling and exploring the world. If Story isn’t at the office the first place to look is on a boat or the golf course! Story’s hobbies are finding great weekend getaways, great food and chasing two sons with endless energy!
